Large amounts of have actually been seized by Department of Health officials throughout a search of a home in Glengormley.
A man was interviewed by department officers about illegally importing and consequently supplying unlicensed impotence medicines via the internet.
The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medication offenses.
He will now be the topic of a report to the general public Prosecution Service.
The search was performed by the department’s Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement office, Peter Moore, said: « It is crucial that we get the message across that unlicensed medicines can be unsafe.
« These types of items being sold, typically online, have undergone no quality control and there can be no warranty about their safety.
« You just do not know what you are taking or the conditions these products were made in. More importantly, you do not know the result drugs like this may have on your health. »
